There are 2 small dings photo 4 and some white spots photo 5, could have rubbed against white paint. New from a vintage British inventory.

The splines are perfect.

It has 2 date stickers, 1 on the inside where the horn pad goes dated 1974 and over stamped 5 75 and one on the outside of the wheel dated the size of the box is 11 x tall. It is heavy so use the shipping calculator to figure cost to your zip code or country. This steering wheel is solid, not cracks.

You are purchasing a nos new old stock steering wheel for the Jaguar XJ6, XJ12 series ii and the xjs pre.

You might want to repaint it to bring it up to your degree of restoration. This is a black Bakelite wheel that has been in storage for many years and has some surface condition issues.
