The only flaw that I see feel is a slight stickiness on the outer wheel from age common w older gm steering wheels like this one. Pontiac Bonneville, Grand Prix, Catalina, Firebird 1970's steering wheel oem removed from early 1970's Pontiac Bonneville.

Steering wheel has been refurbished I removed the peeling wood grain decal adhesive from the center, thoroughly cleaned the wheel, repainted the w silver satin paint, then applied a clear coat finish. In excellent used condition. Rubberized surface feels firm around entire wheel.

On a scale of being the best, I would rate the steering wheel a 9. No cracking or splitting on outer wheel. The Pontiac decal in the is clear without scuffing or noticeable scratches.

I was planning to use this wheel for a Pontiac restoration project but have decided to work on another car instead.
